Aulas: 'Within our reach'
Olympique Lyonnais president Jean-Michel Aulas felt that his side did enough in the 4-1 semi-final first-leg defeat to Ajax to hope for a positive result in the return leg at the Parc OL next Thursday.

UEFA Europa League - Semi-final, first leg
Jean-Michel Aulas (Olympique Lyonnais president): "When you analyse the match, you see that, at times, it played out on the throw of a dice. At 3-1, we should have made it 3-2. We conceded several goals after mistakes. Before that, we had resisted well. We showed, I think, some great things, as well as some not-so-great things. We dipped at the end because we had pushed so hard to get back into the match and score goals. We have to know how to separate the result from the content, and in terms of the content, there were some real grounds for hope. We had chances we couldn't quite convert when the moment came. I'm sure the stadium will be full to bursting on Thursday to help us achieve the feat that is within our reach."
Peter Bosz (AFC Ajax coach): "It was an odd game. I thought that we were pretty bad in the first 15 to 20 minutes. Lyon put us under pressure and we weren't able to play. It looked like we were tense. But in contrast to what we've been doing all season, we converted our first two opportunities. We were suddenly up 2-0. In combination with the fantastic crowd, something beautiful happened. We are in a great position, but the first 20 minutes - in which we played poorly - have taught us that we're definitely not there yet. We'll need to give another top performance in Lyon in order to reach the final."
