Unai Emery (Paris Saint-Germain coach): "This 100th edition of the competition means a lot to us. If we win in the final, it will be the club's 11th time winning this trophy. That's why our objective was so clear tonight: beat Monaco in front of our fans. The team turned in a complete performance, and we deserve our place at the Stade de France against Angers. We hope to win this title and really enjoy it with our fans. Angers are having a good run. We played them pretty recently and it was a tough match. They deserve their place at the Stade de France and the final will doubtless be a hotly contested affair."
Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco coach): "People who understand football, who know what happens at this level, know that right now Monaco have five or six players with small or big injury concerns. If we play with the same 12 or 13 players, if we don't make some choices, we could end the season with just 11 players. We played against a team that has 25 top-level players, that can play in every competition. We have a squad of 15 players, so we don't have that kind of choice. We didn't have a choice. I'm tired and I'm not even playing. This was a decision taken by the whole club: directors, coaching staff, medical staff. Tonight was a window of opportunity for our youngsters and a message to the lads at the youth academy."
