Les Bleus

Olympique Lyonnais captain Nabil Fekir has been recalled by France for friendlies against Wales and Germany.

Fekir has been in inspirational form for OL this season, earning a call-up to a squad shorn of the likes of Monaco's Thomas Lemar and Marseille's Dimitri Payet through injury.

Stuttgart's Benjamin Pavard and Sevilla's Steven Nzonzi have been named in a Les Bleus squad for the first time.

France boss Didier Deschamps, who this week extended his contract through to 2020, said: "I've always said good things about Nabil. I did everything he could so he would choose France. I haven't forgotten that he was injured playing in bleu and it was important for me that he felt confidence in him."

France squad to face Wales on November 10 and Germany on November 14:

Goalkeepers: Areola (PSG), Costil (Bordeaux), Mandanda (Marseille)

Defenders:  Digne (Barcelona), Jallet (Nice), Koscielny (Arsenal), Kimpembe (PSG), Kurzawa (PSG), Pavard (Stuttgart), Umtiti (Barcelona), Varane (Real Madrid)

Midfielders: Matuidi (Juventus), Nzonzi (Sévilla), Rabiot (PSG), Sissoko (Tottenham), Tolisso (Bayern Munich)

Forwards: Coman (Bayern Munich), Fekir (Lyon), Giroud (Arsenal), Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Lacazette (Arsenal), Martial (Manchester United), Mbappé (PSG), Thauvin (Marseille)
