The French Cup semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and giant-killing amateurs Quevilly will be played at the Stade Michel-d'Ornano in Caen on Wednesday April 14 at 20:45 CET.

With the draw for the semi-finals of the French Cup picking Norman side Quevilly as the home team against Paris, the search has been on for a suitable venue that can accommodate a game of this stature while still affording the amateur side a home-ground advantage.

The FFF had originally considered the Stade Robert-Diochon in Rouen as a likely staging ground as Quevilly look to go continue a shock run in the competition that has seen them eliminate Ligue 1 sides Rennes and Boulogne, but following a meeting between the clubs, the FFF and Ministry for the Interior on Wednesday, it has been decided that the match will be played at the Stade Michel-D’Ornano in Caen.

While the location in Normandy will provide some advantage to Quevilly, Paris have a strong track record at the Michel-d’Ornano, having won six of their 11 league fixtures there and drawing just once.
