Lacazette back for France

Les Bleus

Alexandre Lacazette's stunning Ligue 1 form has earned the Olympique Lyonnais forward a recall to the France squad for June's internationals.

Lacazette has not played for Les Bleus since October 2015, but was named in Didier Deschamps' selection for the upcoming friendlies with Paraguay (2 June) and England (13 June) next month, which sandwich a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Sweden on 9 June.

"Alexandre has had a very good season with Lyon," said Deschamps of the OL striker who has scored 26 league goals this season. "I wanted to show to him, like some others, that he belongs to the France squad. It's up to him to take advantage of the playing time he gets."

Olympique de Marseille duo Dimitri Payet and Florian Thauvin were also included, along with Stade Rennais goalkeeper Benoît Costil.
