Coupe de France, Round of 32

SA Epinal (National 2, D4) 0 - 2 Olympique de Marseille

Olympique de Marseille boss Rudi Garcia opted to rotate his squad for this trip to face National 2 side Epinal, and although his reworked side struggled to break down a hungry home side for the first 60 minutes, Valère Germain (73') and Morgan Sanson (90'+3) lit up the latter stages of the match and clinched a place in the round of 16.

Canet Roussillon F.C. (National 3, D5) 1 - 1 SM Caen Caen win 4-3 on pens.

SM Caen, who had fallen 2-0 to Marseille in the league at the weekend, needed a penalty shootout to get past Canet Roussillon FC but prevailed 4-3 after the D5 side's Pierre Mahieu (13') and the visitors' Romain Genevois (29') traded goals in regulation time.

FC Nantes - AJ Auxerre (L2)

Meanwhile FC Nantes found themselves on the wrong end of a seven-goal thriller at home to Auxerre, losing out 4-3 when they conceded Ibrahim Sangaré's winner (76') just after going down to ten men with the expulsion of Diego Lima (71'). A tough result for Claudio Ranieri's side but especially for rising star Adrien Thomasson, who had bagged a brace for the Canaris (38', 65').

FBBP 01 (L2) 2 - 0 Toulouse FC

So too Toulouse FC - coached by former assistant Mickaël Debève following Monday's sacking of Pascal Dupraz - crashed out of the competition. They  had a man sent off - captain Christopher Jullien on the hour-mark - and Ligue 2 opponents Bourg-en-Bresse took full advantage, with Yoann Court making the break (63') and Julien Bègue (88') stitching up the result to claim a place in the next round.
