Coupe de la Ligue, semi-final
Stade Louis II, Monaco

Leonardo Jardim (AS Monaco coach): "I'm happy. We're giving our all in this competition. The lads were very strong tonight. Falcao? It's no surprise. He hadn't scored for three matches, but everyone knows he's a great player. Now we have time to think about the final. We'll take pains to prepare well so we can do better than last season [a 4-1 defeat to PSG]."
Michel Der Zakarian (Montpellier HSC coach): "Technically, the way started the match wasn't befitting a Coupe de la Ligue semi-final, in terms of our technique and our choices. But the players were very brave, and I can't reproach them for anything. We were just lacking that bit of sharpness. It was quality that made the difference; we had the chances but we didn't put them away."
