Lyon-Lille in the quarters!

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Coupe de la Ligue have pitted Lyon and Lille - fresh from LOSC's 3-1 league win over Les Gones - as the pick of the crop when cup action resumes in January.
The draw for the Coupe de la Ligue quarter-finals was held hot on the heels of the last round-of-16 match finishing on Wednesday night. With Lyon getting back on track with a morale-boosting 2-1 derby win over arch-rivals Saint-Etienne and Lille easily accounting for Ligue 2 side Sedan, two of the competition favourites qualified for the quarter-finals.

But only one will progress to the semis after they were pitted against each other in the draw that also sees Marseille - who have won the last two editions of the competition - travel to Caen to keep their dream of an historic third successive Coupe de la Ligue title alive.
The quarter-finals will be played on Tuesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 11, 2012.
