With 19 strikes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the most prolific Saint-Etienne player since a certain Michel Platini in the 1981-82 campaign (22). 4 - OGC Nice's highest finishing position on the Ligue 1 ladder since the club from the Côte d'Azur ended second in 1976. Claude Puel's men recorded a 2-0 win on the final day of the season to qualify for their first ever campaign in the Europa League.

It took the club to 83 points on the ladder, the club's highest total in a season since the introduction of three points for a win in 1994 and the highest Ligue 1 winning total since OL won the 2006 title with 84 points.
