Dupraz bows out at Toulouse
Toulouse FC have announced the departure of coach Pascal Dupraz following the 2-1 Week 22 Ligue 1 Conforama defeat in Montpellier. Former assistant coach Mickaël Debève has taken charge of the first team.
Toulouse, who sit in 19th place after 22 matches, have been struggling for results since November and on Monday the club announced that they would be parting ways with former club player Dupraz.
A communiqué on the club's official website read as follows:
"Pascal Dupraz and [Toulouse FC president] Olivier Sadran have decided to put an end to their collaboration this morning.
Pascal Dupraz and Olivier Sadran felt that sporting and extra-sporting conditions were not coming together to help the club through its upcoming clashes.
As of today, Michaël Debève will take the reins of the senior team.
The TFC sincerely thanks Pascal Dupraz for the commitment and professionalism he has always shown since his arrival at the club."
The announcement comes just under two years after he stepped in to replace Dominique Arribagé and steered the club to safety.
Toulouse's next match comes on Tuesday night as they look to book a place in the Coupe de France's round of 16 with a win away to Ligue 2 side Bourg-en-Bresse 01.
