Isla to leave OM at end of loan spell
Mauricio Isla's agent has revealed the versatile Chilean international will return to Serie A club Juventus when his season-long loan at Olympique de Marseille reaches its term at the end of the season.
Isla, with his ability to play both in midfield and at full-back, has become an integral part of Michel's OM this season and the 27-year-old has started every Ligue 1 game in 2016.
Speaking after Isla's Chile fell 2-1 to an Angel Di Maria-inspired Argentina in a World Cup qualifier, agent Fernando Felicevich said: "The player will not be bought by OM. Even if he is playing well for the club, they are not able to buy him for economic reasons, they are not able to take up the option-to-buy clause.
"He will go back to Juventus, where he has one year left on his contract. For the rest, it is too early to talk through any hypotheses."
