Jourdren left out of PSG clash
Montpellier coach Rolland Courbis has confirmed Geoffrey Jourdren will again be frozen out when champions Paris Saint-Germain visit the Stade de la Mosson on Saturday.
The goalkeeper was left out of the matchday squad for the 1-0 win at Lens last weekend after publicly criticising the club's attackers for their lack of success in the 0-0 draw with Rennes in Week 35.
Jonathan Ligali kept a clean sheet against relegated Lens and will again be between the sticks when Europe-chasing Montpellier host PSG.
Courbis said: "Ligali will play against Paris and Jourdren will play against Bordeaux on the final day. Ligali is being rewarded for his qualities, his comportment, the fact he's happy to play for the reserves and the fact he never says stupid things in the dressing room or to the press."
The outspoken Jourden is thus due to return for the final game at Bordeaux, currently three points and a place above seventh-placed Montpellier. Sixth will be enough for European football should PSG beat Auxerre in the Coupe de France final on May 30.
