Between the two of them, Lyon and Monaco have occupied second place for 20 of the 2017/18 campaign's 23 Weeks to date, with OL the current incumbent in the position despite last Sunday's shock 3-1 loss to Girondins de Bordeaux, in what was Gustavo Poyet's first match in charge of the wine country club.
Lyon coach Bruno Génésio described the game as Les Gones' worst performance of the season so far, though with a full-strength team to call upon on Sunday - but for the suspended Lucas Tousart - he is refusing to hit the panic button.

"We must use this game for the ones that are ahead," he said. "We don't need to tear everything down but it should be in the back of our minds. To get results there are fundamentals to be respected and today we didn't respect them."
Fekir through the middle
OL have respected those fundamentals for most of the season, especially on the road, where they have picked up a league-best 26 of a possible 36 points. With Tousart missing, Génésio is likely to play a 4-3-3 with captain Nabil Fekir playing centrally. Memphis Depay should feature from the start, meanwhile, having started the Bordeaux game on the bench.
Where Lyon have a clean bill of health, Génésio's opposite number Leonardo Jardim must contend with an unenviable injury list. Thomas Lemar failed to make the squad for Wednesday's 2-0 win over Montpellier Hérault SC which punched Monaco's ticket into the Coupe de la Ligue final against PSG. Jorge (knee), Diego Benaglio (knock) and Adama Diakhaby (thigh) are also sidelined.

Falcao on fire
Radamel Falcao - who grabbed both goals against Montpellier - was singled out for special praise by Jardim, who also said that Lemar's absence had nothing to do with purported interest from the English Premier League.
"Falcao? It's no surprise that he scored a brace," beamed the Portuguese tactician of his 16-goal top scorer. "He's a great striker and knows when to pounce. We haven't discussed anything new with Lemar. He already knows what we want. If I stay at Monaco for ten years I would want Lemar to stay for ten years."
Keita Baldé should start in attack alongside Falcao, with Youri Tielemans taking Lemar's place in midfield should he fail to return in time.
