 Paris Saint-Germain / FC Nantes : 1 - 0

The match started at a frenetic pace with Paris creating the early chances. In the seventh minute, Guillaume Hoarau was bustled over in the area while trying to latch onto a cross from the lively Jérome Rothen. Recent arrival Mateja Kezman made no mistake from the spot, blasting home just under Jérôme Alonzo's bar to give the home side the advantage.

PSG took a deserved lead into the break after a dominant display from midfielders Rothen, Ludovic Giuly and Stéphane Sessegnon.

While Nantes were much improved in the second half, the homeside continued to carve out the better chances, however there was to be no further change to the scoring.

The win sees the hosts climb to third place on the league table, while Nantes, remain last with a solitary point from their opening five games.
