Ranieri: 'We can improve'
AS Monaco FC coach Claudio Ranieri has admitted Paris Saint-Germain are "more of a team" than his own side, who the Italian feels are far from the finished article.

Ranieri saw his side supplanted at the top of Ligue 1 on Friday with PSG's 2-0 victory over Girondins de Bordeaux taking the reigning champions to the summit of French football. Monaco, who like PSG remain unbeaten, will have the opportunity to retake top spot when they face Lorient on Sunday, a week before they travel to the Parc des Princes.
Despite the raft of summer arrivals and departures at the Stade Louis II, the principality club have impressed with their cohesion as well as their results, but Ranieri told L'Equipe PSG were still ahead of his own squad in that regard.
"Paris are more of a team than we are. They have been together for two years. Everything's new for us. I'm not complaining. I'm not saying they have an advantage. I want to win, and that's what I emphasise to the players," said the former Chelsea and Roma boss, who guided the team to the Ligue 2 title last season.
"There are still a lot of things to do. In every sector of our play and in all situations. I want to know how my team is going to react under pressure from opponents, when it has to stay compact and focussed and not break apart. I also need to see it again when faced with teams who are compact themselves, in those circumstances where it's important to play quickly mentally, think quickly and do the right thing quickly."
