| France v Ireland (1-0 on aggregate):
Lyon 'keeper Hugo Lloris was in brilliant form in the first leg at Croke Park as Les Bleus took a big step towards World Cup qualification and he'll be loking for another cleansheet at the Stade de France on Wednesday to complete the job. He is likely to be joined in the starting XI by up to four other domestic-based players with Alou Diarra (Bordeaux), André-Pierre Gignac (Toulouse), Sidney Govou (Lyon) and Yoann Gourcuff (Bordeaux) all vying for places in Raymond Domenech's side. Bosnia-Herzegovina v Portugal (0-1 on aggregate):
Miralem Pjanic is in the running for a starting role in one of the biggest games of his short international career as his side look to oust powerhouse Portugal and qualify for the first ever time for the World Cup finals. Bosnia coach Miroslav Blazevic is without Montpellier stopper and regular captain Emir Spahic as well as Elvir Rahimic and Samir Muratovic.

Russia features ex-Marseille striker Dmitri Sytchev and former PSG midfielder Sergei Semak.
Uruguay v Costa Rica (1-0 on aggregate):
