OGC Nice's Côte d'Ivoire striker Nicolas Pépé maybe be on loan from Arsenal, but he has a wealth of experience in Ligue 1 Uber Eats - and he sat down with the Ligue 1 Show to share his memories from Angers, LOSC and Les Aiglons. Interview.

BEST GOAL
"I think it was against Nice, in Lille. We won 4-1… I got the ball, played a one-two with [Rafael] Leão and then surged towards the goal. I ran at Dante and then curled it just inside the far post."

BEST MATCH
"I'd say the game against PSG, when we won 5-1 in Lille. That was my best game."

BEST MEMORY
"My last game in Ligue 1, with Lille. It wasn’t official but everyone knew I was leaving. There was a standing ovation for me, and my parents came on to the pitch. I was with the fans for 30 or 35 minutes, at least. I was up until the early hours. I was with the coach [Christophe] Galtier for ages, so it's a great memory for me."

BEST TEAM-MATE
"I got on very well with Kevin Malcuit. We played together on the right flank and had a good understanding. Yacine Benzia played No.10 when I was on the right, and we always looked for each other. And I loved playing with [Jonathans] Bamba and Ikoné."

FUNNIEST TEAM-MATE

"Bakary Soumare! He's always making jokes. You arrive at 9 in the morning, and you’re tired - well, he’s never tired. So I'll say Soumaré."

TOUGHEST OPPONENT
"Thiago Silva. When I was at Angers, he was the toughest guy to play against. He had this intelligence, this ability to read the game, which was amazing. He wasn't aggressive, but he just knew where you were going to go, and he'd intercept the ball easily. Even now, he's 37, but for me he's still one of the best defenders in the world."
