One man bringing joy to Paris Saint-Germain in their current difficult period is prodigiously talented midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery! The 17-year-old prodigy sat down for a chat with the Ligue 1 Show.

On 1 February, Zaire-Emery made club history!

A month and a half before his 17th birthday, Warren Zaire-Emery became the youngest man to score a top-flight goal for the ten-time Champions, and only the sixth 16-year-old ever to net in Ligue 1 Uber Eats!

"He has a great future, he showed that he could be important to us with the qualities he has," declared Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier. "Both in his defensive capacities and his technical qualities but also his ability to carry the ball forward."

"I'm very happy, it's my first Ligue 1 goal, so it's a lovely moment!" beamed the youngster. "I hope there are more to come!"

But Zaire-Emery didn't have long to wait for his hopes to be answered: last weekend, the PSG academy product struck again, perhaps the only positive to take from a torrid afternoon in Monaco!

Given his age, Zaire-Emery stands up remarkably to the physical nature of top-flight football. Add to that an exceptional reading of the game and a determination to get forward - while not stinting on his defensive duties - and you have yourself a man with an enormous future!

The youngest man ever to start a Champions League knockout-round match, Zaire-Emery signed his first professional contract last summer. Having scored twice in his first 250 minutes in Ligue 1 Uber Eats, Zaire-Emery could become the latest world-beater to emerge from the Parisian academy!
