Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon boast 17 Ligue 1 Uber Eats titles between them, and they meet at the Parc des Princes on Sunday with PSG looking to make it a French record 11th this season. ligue1.com looks back at three classic encounters the heavyweight duo have served up in recent seasons in which Kylian Mbappé, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani have all starred.

2018/19, Matchday 9: PSG 5-0 Lyon

After Lyon dominated the opening decade of the millenium, there is no doubt PSG have been top dogs in France during the second.

This win for Thomas Tuchel's men came either side of 2-1 losses in Lyon, but the champions certainly made a statement at the Parc des Princes. Neymar's penalty (9') got them started, and after Presnel Kimpembé and Lucas Tousart had both been sent off shortly before half-time, PSG — and Kylian Mbappé in particular — really got to work. In the space of 13 second-half minutes, the France international forward fired in a four-goal salvo in one of the most impressive individual performances ever seen at the Parc to become the youngest player — at 19 years and 9 months — to score four times in the same Ligue 1 match in the previous 45 seasons.

2015/16, Matchday 18: PSG 5-1 Lyon

Another one-sided contest in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower, this time inspired largely by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swedish superstar opened the scoring (11') and got another in the second half — his side's fourth goal — from the penalty spot (77').

In between Serge Aurier (17') and Edinson Cavani (61') also found the net with Jordan Ferri (24') keeping things close up to the hour mark. Lucas Moura (90+1') capped things off in added time as the league leaders gave their fans an early Christmas present.

2011/12, Matchday 25: Lyon 4-4 PSG

With more twists and turns than a ballroom dancing class, this 90 minutes at Lyon's old Stade de Gerland home is one of Ligue 1 Uber Eats' all-time classics.

At the start of PSG's QSI era, Carlo Ancelotti's visitors were up against a Lyon side that was packed with genuine top-drawer quality.

Guillaume Hoarau (21') put PSG in front, but Lyon looked like being two goals clear by the break thanks to Bafétimbi Gomis (34'), Lisandro Lopez (36') and Michel Bastos (40') as Rémi Garde's men seemed to have swept the game away from their guests in the space of just six minutes.

A Nene penalty with seconds to go before the interval (45+2') kept PSG afloat, but when Jimmy Briand netted a fourth for Lyon (58') the game again looked up.

But PSG battled back, first substitute Marcos Ceara (73') and then Hoarau with virtually the last kick of the game (90+4') ensured the points — and the eight goals — were shared.
