Brazilian right-back Dani Alves announced on Sunday that he will be leaving Ligue 1 Conforama champions PSG in the summer.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Dani Alves, whose contract came to term at the end of the season, announced his departure from the capital club on social media on Sunday, officially ending his two-year spell with Les Rouge et Bleu.

"Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end and the moment has come to put a full-stop on my time here," the 36-year-old posted on Instagram.

"I offer my apologies if, at any stage, I wasn't up to the task or if I put a foot wrong," continued the veteran who added two Ligue 1 Conforama titles to his truly impressive trophy cabinet while in France. "I always tried to do my best."

During his time in France with Paris Saint-Germain, Alves won five titles in total: Ligue 1 Conforama in 2018 and 2019; the Coupe de France in 2018; the Coupe de la Ligue BKT in 2018 and the Trophée des Champions in 2017, when he scored a goal.

The former FC Barcelona and Juventus man is currently on national team duty with Brazil at the Copa America, captaining the Selecão.
