Lyon have clinched their second recruit of the summer: Brazilian midfielder Jean Lucas, 21, while Toulouse continued their transfer-window activity with the signature of Greek international striker Efthimis Koulouris.

Olympique Lyonnais now have another strong contender in midfield: Jean Lucas. The Flamengo youth academy product signed for the Rhône valley club on Tuesday, the club announced on its twitter account. The defensive midfielder arrives following a season spent on loan with Brazilian giants Santos, for whom he played nine matches, and he is the second OL recruit of the summer after Romanian goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu, who signed from Nantes.

Toulouse FC: Koulouris makes move as Vainqueur, Makengo land on loan

Toulouse FC have also been active in the transfer market, landing Greek international striker Efthimios Koulouris on a four-year deal. The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan from PAOK at Atromitos, top scored in the Greek league with 19 goals in 28 matches. The promising young striker will wear the number 20 shirt fro Alain Casanova's side.

Meanwhile, Le Téfécé have also bolstered their ranks in midfield, with the loan arrivals of William Vainqueur and Jean-Victor Makengo. The former, now 30 years of age, spent last season on loan from Turkish side Antalyaspor at AS Monaco - continuing his connection with Ligue 1 Conforama, where he has played 58 matches for FC Nantes, OM and Monaco.

The latter, also a midfielder, is a rising star from the SM Caen youth academy. Makengo has almost as much Ligue 1 Conforama experience as Vainqueur, having played 57 top-flight matches for boyhood club Caen and then OGC Nice. His loan deal is for one season with an option to buy.
