Play-offs, first leg

Stade Bollaert, Lens

 RC Lens 1-1 Dijon FCO

Philippe Montanier (RC Lens coach): "For sure it's disappointing when you lose a lead like that. But it's not the worst result. We still have every chance. When they scored, we were too open and became victims of our own drive. We're somewhat on the back foot now but that's a position we're used to being in. There is no problem. Playing extra-time twice last week [in the play-offs against Paris FC and Troyes], on top of the two trips we had to make, obviously made difference but I thought my team didn't hold back at all. Dijon are a good side, but we stil have a chance - especially after two wins away from home. Good things come in threes! We're still in it."

Florent Balmont (Dijon midfielder): "It's a good result. This away goal was very important for us in view of the return leg. But nothing is over yet and we have to pull off a huge performance in order to stay in Ligue 1 Conforama. We'll need to be solid and push Lens even harder, as we managed to at times tonight. We ended the match on top; we could feel them tiring. As I said, our away goal is capital, even though anything can happen in football. We need to convert this result at home, with - this time - our own fans behind us."
