Olympique Lyonnais have announced the official signature of midfielder Jeff Reine-Adélaïde from Angers SCO on Wednesday evening. The promising 21-year-old signed a five-year deal worth a reported €25m.
After reinforcing their back-line fairly extensively over the summer - the defence-minded Joachim Andersen, Thiago Mendes, Jean Lucas and Youssouf Koné all came in - Olympique Lyonnais have landed a fresh attacking talent in the form of Jeff Reine-Adélaïde from Angers SCO.
Sparkling with SCO
At Angers SCO since January 2018, Jeff Reine-Adélaïde has played 46 Ligue 1 Conforama games for four goals and as many assists. Last Saturday, in the opening round of the Ligue 1 Conforama season, the France youth international, who came up through the academies at RC Lens and Arsenal, shone brightly by bagging a goal and an assist in Angers' clash with Bordeaux (3-1).
Attacking force
Reine-Adélaïde thus joins an already impressive front line for Sylvinho's team - which boasts the likes of Memphis Depay, Moussa Dembélé and Bertrand Traoré - who showed all their pedigree in a 3-0 humbling of Monaco in the principality on the opening day of the season.
