Naïm Sliti was thrilled to have helped the Burgundy club stay in Ligue 1 Conforama with a two-goal haul in the 3-1 return leg win (4-2 on aggregate) over Domino's Ligue 2 side RC Lens.

Naïm Sliti (Dijon FCO midfielder): "This is amazing - it's exactly what we wanted. We had a season that was far from terrible and we really wanted to save the club. Players area bit selfish and we often think of ourselves, but we mustn't forget that it's fleeting. We come and we go while the club, the president and the supporters stay in the same place the whole time. I'm very happy for everyone. Dijon deserve to be in Ligue 1 and we proved that tonight."

Antoine Kombouaré (Dijon FCO coach): "I'm happy and proud that we accomplished our mission. But once again, all the credit goes to the players. We were up to the task, even though we doubted ourselves and hesitated at times. But in the end, all is forgiven and forgotten. I won't talk about miracles, because in life you get what you deserve. We may have squeaked our way back in through a mouse hole, but we did it and we're still in Ligue 1."

Philippe Montanier (RC Lens coach): "Our first half was pretty average but we weren't the only ones. The 1-1 scoreline from the first leg put us in a fairly favourable position, and we  started to take the upper hand after the break. [Second-choice 'keeper Jérémy] Vachoux's mistake is just a part of football - I know because I was a keeper for 30 years. The players showed plenty of pride and gave it all they had right to the end. It has been a whirlwind of a season."
