Olympique Lyonnais will be out to build on their stirring 2-1 Rhône derby win over Saint-Etienne and book a place in the Coupe de France last 16 when they travel to Amiens on Thursday evening.

Coupe de France, Round of 32

Stade de la Licorne, Amiens

Amiens SC - Olympique Lyonnais - Kick-off at 21:00 CET

After banging home a last-gasp header to clinch the 2-1 win away to arch-rivals Saint-Etienne at the weekend, France U21 international Moussa Dembélé is more than likely to lead Lyon's line as they go to Amiens looking for a place in the last 16.

Genesio: 'His hard work is paying off'

The youngster has played relatively rarely since his high-profile move from Celtic in the summer but his heroics at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard - which, with no exaggeration at all made him a quasi-legend at OL - have coach Bruno Genesio looking to hand him more minutes.

"His hard work is paying off. He gets on with his work and doesn't carry on," explained the OL boss, who is tipped to start Dembélé at the apex of a 4-2-3-1 with Nabil Fekir just behind him taking care of playmaking duties. "I think it's tough for him not to start every match, but he doesn't make a fuss and he gives his all. He brins us a real presence in the area and give es us options running defenders. On top of that, he scored that winning goal that wrote him into the club's history books."

Priorities

Meanwhile, Amiens boss Christophe Pélissier, whose side are coming off a 2-1 defeat to LOSC, is set to rotate his squad for the match. Doubtless he has an eye on Sunday's league visit of... Lyon, when even a single point could prove crucial as the club - who currently sit in 17th place just a point above the play-off spot - continue their bid to beat the drop.

"We'll be making some changes for this match, but we're not writing it off," said the Amiens boss, who is tipped to field OL old boy Mathieu Bodmer up front, harkening back to his days as a playmaker in his youth. "On Sunday the team will be different, as different as possible. Last season we had 36 players under contract, while this season, economically, we're doing our best."

Lyon prevailed 3-2 at the Stade de Licorne in teh Coupe de la Ligue last 16 back in December, with the opening goal scored by none other than Moussa Dembélé.
