Kylian Mbappé moved onto 32 Ligue 1 Conforama goals for the season as he netted a brace in the champions' 4-0 home win over Dijon.

Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Dijon FCO

THE MATCH

PSG made light of having several players suspended - including Brazilian superstar Neymar - and Antoine Kombouaré's Dijon were swept away by PSG from the first whistle. Dijon's only hope of survival now is to pip Cane to 18th place and then come through the promotion/relegation play-off.

Angel Di Maria (3') gave PSG the lead as he cut on to his left foot and curled a shot that took a deflection on its way past Runar Alex Runarsson. A minute later PSG were two to the good (4') as Di Maria turned provider, crossing for captain-for-the-night Edinson Cavani to head home from six metres out for his 18th league goal of the season.

Making his home debut, 17-year-old defender Loïc Mbe Soh (25') hit the post but the respite was only temporary for Dijon as Mbappé (36') tapped in a mishit Edinson Cavani effort. Dijon were fortunate (40') to see Mbappé's deflected shot hit Runarsson's crossbar.

Eleven minutes after half-time PSG scored their final goal (56'). Mbappé was played into space by a superb Leandro Paredes pass and the French international raced clear before lifting the ball over Runarsson. Mbappé (75') missed a big chance for a hat-trick and was then denied by Runarsson late on (88').

In Week 38 Dijon host Toulouse and must win, while hoping that Caen fall at home to Bordeaux. PSG sign off their title-winning season, fittingly heading to Champagne country to take on Reims.

THE PLAYER: Kylian Mbappé

Back from suspension, Mbappé set about making up for lost time with his double, though the 20-year-old will feel a hat-trick was there for the taking. No French player has scored as many as 32 league goals since Philippe Gondet netted 36 for Nantes in 1965-1966.

THE STAT: 19

Paris Saint-Germain finished the home season unbeaten, winning 17 times and drawing twice. They scored 63 goals and conceded only 10.
