Wissam ben Yedder leads the Ligue 1 Conforama goalscoring charts, and the in-form AS Monaco striker has warned opposition defences: 'I have no limits'.

Ben Yedder's matchwinning strike against FC Nantes in Friday's Week 11 fixture was the France international's ninth league goal in as many appearances since joining Monaco from Sevilla in the summer.

It means he joins Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero as the only strikers in one of Europe's top five leagues to have scored in six successive matches this season.

"It was a deserved win for Monaco," said Ben Yedder. "It's a lot to say that we're 'irresistible', but we're working and trying to build our game, together, to get good results. I have no limits, I always try to do more and to keep scoring for the team and for me. I'm very happy.

"It's always nice to score, it feels good. But the trophy for the league's leading scorer isn't the most important thing."

Victory at the Stade de la Beaujoire was Monaco's first on their travels since March, and means they have now won four of their last five games to move to within four points of second place.

"Monaco had some tough times last year and at the start of the season, and found it difficult to get points," said Ben Yedder, who saw his new club pick up just three points from their opening six league matches.

"We're trying to get back into it little by little. The podium is still a long way off. We're not thinking about it."
