Relations between Neymar Jr. and the Paris Saint-Germain support are thawing after the Brazilian's goalscoring performance against Angers SCO, according to coach Thomas Tuchel.

Neymar was linked with a return to former club Barcelona over the summer and it wasn't until Week 5 of this campaign that he first turned out for PSG in the league.

Prolific

The 27-year-old has been in magnificent for the capital club since, though, his goal in the 4-0 win over Angers his fourth Ligue 1 Conforama goal in just 450 minutes of football since.

"It's getting better," said Tuchel of Neymar's relationship with the PSG fans. "It's up to him to show that he's decisive, that he'll work hard for the team. Talking is useless. He tried a lot, a lot of dribbles. He could've scored more but he's capable of extraordinary things."

Fully fit

Three of Neymar's four goals have come in the final few minutes of games, the other - the winner against Girondins de Bordeaux in Week 8  - coming with half an hour to go. Any fears that the Brazilian couldn't play for 90 minutes after his ankle injury have been firmly allayed.

Neymar has been called up to the latest Brazil squad for the friendlies against Senegal and Nigeria alongside PSG teammates Thiago Silva and Marquinhos, with a league clash at OGC Nice greeting him on his return.
