Lyon booked their place in the last 16 with a solid display away to Amiens, Moussa Dembélé and Léo Dubois striking in the first half to clinch a 2-0 win despite losing defender Marçal to a red card just before the break.

Coupe de France, Round of 32

Just four days after earning a place in club history by scoring the winner five minutes into injury time away to Rhône derby rivals Saint-Etienne, Moussa Dembélé was at it again on Thursday, opening the scoring to pave the way for Lyon's progression to the Coupe de France round of 16 (28').

Fekir at the heart

Released by some fine work from captain Nabil Fekir, the France U21 international made no mistake, calmly side-footing past Matthieu Dreyer before Dubois pounced on the rebound after Dreyer had parried an effort from the ubiquitous Fekir (35').

Although OL had to go the whole second half without Marçal, who took matter into his own hands after a strong tackle from Amiens striker Cheick Timité, Bruno Genesio's men controlled proceedings and held out for a result that leaves Amiens regretting missed chances from Colombian Stiven Mendoza (7') and Timité (13').

Do-over

Lyon will now face Guingamp in the round of 16, but before then will run this fixture back as they clash with Amiens once again in the league, at the stade de la Licorne on Sunday.
