Stade de Reims forward Boulaye Dia is suffering from a muscle tear that will keep him sidelined for four weeks, his club announced on Wednesday.

It's a tough blow for Reims, who are still in the race for a European finish but now as real outsiders - they sit six points shy of OM in fifth, which will yield a UEFA Europa League qualification place should PSG win the Coupe de France against Rennes on Saturday - following a winless run of four (two defeats).

Season ender?

Their efforts to turn things around won't be helped by the absence of 22-year-old Dia (three goals), who limped off in the 2-0 defeat at home to Saint-Etienne in Week 33, suffering from a lesion in his psoas. His scheduled absence fo four weeks could see him miss the rest of the season although he could be back in time for the closing-day clash at home to champions PSG on 25 May.

Meanwhile 'keeper Johann Carrasso remains in treatment for a hip complaint and defender Ghislain Konan is still getting back to full fitness following surgery for a bulging disc in January.

Reims travel to Angers for Sunday's Week 34 clash at the Stade Raymond Kopa.
