FC Nantes set up a Coupe de France semi-final date with holders Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a 2-0 win over amateurs Vitré on Wednesday.
The hosts are battling relegation from French football's fourth tier, and were never in with a chance of creating an upset after Gabriel Boschilia (25') and Antonio Mance (43'), who was making his first start for Nantes, found the net before the break.
Anthony Limbombe had a number of chances to score a third, but Nantes still held on comfortably as they kept a third successive clean sheet in all compeitions despite midfielder Andrei Girotto being employed as a makeshift centre-back.
