Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has lavished praise on teammate Kylian Mbappé following the 20-year-old's two-goal haul against SM Caen on Saturday.
PSG were trailing to Casimir Ninga's opener for Caen until just inside the hour, when Mbappé converted a penalty following Younn Zahary's handball. The attacker then completed the win with three minutes to spare, and Neymar was impressed.
"He's calm, happy, full of joy, a playful guy, of course he is still a 'boy' and will gain a lot of experience," the world's most expensive player explained to DAZN. "For me he's a phenomenon, and can be even bigger than he is today, and will undoubtedly be one of the biggest names in world football."
Neymar is currently sidelined with an ankle injury picked up in PSG's 2-0 win over RC Strasbourg Alace in the Coupe de France in January, with his return date yet to be confirmed.
