Paris Saint-Germain are expecting to have Neymar Jr. available for first-team duty when they travel to Real Madrid CF in UEFA Champions League Group A later this month.

The world's most expensive player suffered a hamstring injury during Brazil's 1-1 friendly draw with Nigeria in Singapore in October, and has missed PSG's last five games in all competitions as a result.

Four-week absence

The capital club's medical staff announced soon after the injury that Neymar's "return to competition should be in four weeks in accordance with his recovery," which would fall squarely on their Week 14 clash at home to LOSC, four days before their trip to the Spanish capital.

Rested

Neymar has not been called up for the latest round of international fixtures, although PSG teammates Thiago Silva and Marquinhos are in the Selecao squad to face Argentina and South Korea. Instead he is at the Camp des Loges, where he partook in his individual training sessions on Tuesday.

Neymar had scored four goals in five games before his latest set-back. PSG will be glad to have him back at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, although they have already qualified for the knock-out rounds having won a perfect four from four games so far.
