Neymar is back in training and could even make his long-awaited comeback against Monaco on Sunday evening as Paris Saint-Germain celebrate winning the Ligue 1 Conforama title.
The goal is to have the Brazilian superstar fit for next Saturday's Coupe de France final against Rennes at Stade de France but there is an outside chance the attacker could feature in the squad to face Monaco.
"I'm feeling good," was the simple message Neymar posted on social media on Friday to accompany video footage of him going through his paces in training as he steps up his recovery from the metatarsal injury sustained in the Coupe de France against Strasbourg in January.
Coach Thomas Tuchel said on Saturday morning: "Neymar is decisive in the training matches. We have to wait as there are still two training sessions to come. Maybe we'll see him on Sunday, at least I hope so. The results of Neymar's tests are good and he's confident. He's not scared, he's shooting in training and feels good."
