Stade Rennais FC have been drawn against English giants Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League round of 16!
The day after the greatest European performance in the history of the Brittany club, which saw them win 3-1 in Seville to qualify 6-4 on aggregate - after conceding three goals at home in the first leg - Rennes were handed a new challenge: Arsenal.
While it is doubtless a tough draw against last season's UEFA Europa League semi-finalists, who were knocked out by eventual winners Atlético (1-1, 0-1), Rennes boss Julien Stéphan will have the home-ground advantage for the first leg at Roazhon Park on Thursday, March 7 - a week later they go to the Emirates Stadium in London for the return.
