The principality club have announced the arrival of Jean-Eudes Aholou from RC Strasbourg Alsace while Portugal midfielder João Moutinho ends his five-year stay at the club with a move to Wolverhampton Wolves.

AS Monaco are continuing their shopping spree in Ligue 1 Conforama, announcing Wednesday the signature of a sixth player who plied his trade in France's top flight last season: Jean-Eudes Aholou, 24, who joined the principality club on a five-year deal from RC Strasbourg Alsace. The Côte d'Ivoire international had an excellent debut Ligue 1 Conforama campaign last season, making 35 appearances and scoring five goals - a performance that earned him a nomination for the UNFP Trophies All-Star Team in 20187-18.

Aholou in, Moutinho out

Just before the announcement of Aholou's arrival, AS Monaco announced that midfielder João Moutinho had left the club. The Portugal international, who won the Ligue 1 Conforama title under Leonardo Jardim in 2016-17, has made the move across the Channel to Wolverhampton Wolves.

A stalwart of the Portugal national team (113 caps), the 31-year-old Moutinho spent five seasons with Monaco, playing 221 Ligue 1 Conforama matches while notching 33 assists and 12 goals.
