Uruguay star Edinson Cavani is a chance to make the teamsheet for Paris Saint-Germain's Ligue 1 Conforama trip to Guingamp on Saturday afternoon.
Edinson Cavani has been out of action since a calf injury cut short a spectacular two-goal turn in Uruguay's round-of-16 World Cup elimination of Portugal, but El Matador could well make a return to action away to EA Guingamp on Saturday.
Club doctors had predicted that last season's Ligue 1 Conforama top scorer would miss the first two league outings of the season, but his individually tailored pre-season convalescence programme is apparently working wonders and, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel is considering the Uruguayan for Saturday's teamsheet.
Getting back to normal
Meanwhile Paris Saint-Germain's three World Cup winners Kylian Mbappé, Presnel Kimpembe and Alphonse Areola, who returned from holidays last week, completed a full training session. Tuchel's star-studded squad is now at full strength with the exceptions of Marco Verratti (groin) and Layvin Kurzawa (back).
