Stade de Reims are the first team to have sealed their place in Ligue 1 Conforama next season after clinching promotion back to the top flight.
The Champagne region side defeated AC Ajaccio 1-0 while second-placed Nimes were held to a 2-2 draw by Bourg-en-Bresse on Friday to clinch the second tier title and return to the premier division of French football after a two-season absence.
With 78 points from 33 matches, Reims, who have been top of the table since 19 September, have the joint-best points tally for a Domino's Ligue 2 season in the 21st century, and are poised to set a new mark with five matches left.
