Two Ligue 1 Conforama, Angers SCO and Stade de Reims, welcomed new faces on Friday.
After the signature of Stéphane Bahoken from RC Strasbourg Alsace, Angers SCO have followed up with another signing from a fellow Ligue 1 Conforama club: Vincent Pajot from Saint-Etienne. The veteran midfielder signed a three-year deal with the club from the Maine-et-Loire department. After coming up through the renowned Stade Rennais youth academy and making 84 Ligue 1 Conforama appearances for the senior team (one goal), Pajot spent three seasons at Saint-Etienne (69 Ligue 1 Conforama appearances, six goals).
Reims reel in Ivorian Konan
Promoted Stade de Reims have registered their first arrival of the transfer window: Ghislain Konan. The 22-year-old Ivorian left-back, who had been with Portuguese top-flight side Vitoria Guimaraes since 2015, notably played in two UEFA Europa League clashes with Olympique de Marseille. Konan also has three caps for Côte d'Ivoire national team the Elephants.
