Javier Pastore has said he'd like to stay at Ligue 1 Conforama leaders Paris Saint-Germain, contradicting what club captain Thiago Silva said about him on Wednesday evening.

Quizzed about the Argentinian midfielder, who returned to training five days late after the winter break, Thiago Silva said: "Pastore, I think he told the club he wants to leave but they haven't found an agreement."

Pastore, signed by PSG in 2011, replied on his Instagram account: "I have never spoken with Thiago Silva about my problem or about my future. I've never put pressure on anybody as that's not my style. He doesn't know about the problem I had that meant I was late back. I repeat that my dream is to be the last one to leave. I've always been loyal. It's not true that I want to go. I'd like to stay here for the rest of my career."
