Toulouse FC announced on Tuesday that it has put the facilities of its training centre at the disposal of the prefecture, as part of a range of initiatives in the fight against COVID-19.

Toulouse FC announced on Tuesday that it would make the facilities of its training centre available to the Haute-Garonne prefecture in their battle against the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

"A first survey took place last week confirming the interest of the authorities for this modern and adaptable structure in case of emergency accommodation needs," the club, currently sitting at the foot of the Ligue 1 Conforama table, said in a statement, "in order to welcome people who are fragile or concerned by COVID-19."

In addition, the TFC highlighted the "solidarity initiatives, both individual and collective" of its supporters, such as the crowd funding of hospital staff in Toulouse. Meanwhile, the Fondation TFC, the charitable foundation supported by the entire club, has chosen to make several donations: €10,000 to Toulouse University Hospital, €5,000 to the Red Cross and €5,000 to Doctors of the World.
