Does the ranking of the top scorers in Ligue 1 Conforama resemble the top ten forwards with the best goals-to-minutes ratio?

Since the beginning of the season, 11 players have scored ten or more goals in Ligue 1 Conforama. But which of them are the most frequent scorers in terms of goals to minutes played?

Unsurprisingly, the most effective among them make up the front line of the league's best attack - that of Paris Saint-Germain. The capital club have racked up 75 goals this season - that's 31 more than their nearest goal-coring rivals AS Monaco (44) - and accordingly the podium in the goals-to-minutes ratio stakes is 100% PSG.

Mbappé on top

With a goal scored every 84 minutes, Kylian Mbappé is the player who needs the least amount of time on the pitch to get the ball into the back of the net. In fact, he is the only striker in the league who needs less than 90 minutes on average to score. PSG's number seven is currently the league's top scorer with 18 goals, the same total as Wissam Ben Yedder.

But it is not the Monaco man who follows Mbappé among the players with the best goals-to-minutes ratio - it's Neymar. The Brazilian star is the fifth-highest scorer in the league with 13 goals, scoring every 101 minutes on average. Rounding out the podium is Argentina's Mauro Icardi. While the PSG striker has scored 'only' 12 goals in Ligue 1 Conforama, he did so in 1269 minutes, or one goal every 105 minutes.

Ben Yedder, first non-Parisian

Fourth place in this ranking goes to a certain Wissam Ben Yedder. The France and AS Monaco striker has scored his 18 goals at an average of once every 120 minutes. Third-top scorer in the league with 16 goals, Lyon's Moussa Dembélé has the fifth-best ratio: one goal every 172 minutes.

Like Dembélé, Lille's Victor Osimhen (one goal every 176 minutes) and FC Metz's Habib Diallo (one goal every 183 minutes) are in the same waters. The last two members of the top ten are Dario Benedetto (OM) and Denis Bouanga (AS Saint-Etienne).
