Following the end of Ligue 1 Conforama season, with places awarded on a points-per-match basis, Paris Saint-Germain have claimed a third-straight French title to go level with arch-rivals OM in terms of Ligue 1 Conforama titles.
And then there were nine! Paris Saint-Germain have been officially crowned Ligue 1 Conforama champions following the decision to use the performance index ranking for the 2019-20 season, taking into account the number of points scored in all matches played.
Level with OM
With nine league titles to their name, PSG are back in second place among the most successful clubs in Ligue 1 Conforama behind AS Saint-Etienne, France's historical leaders with ten Ligue 1 Conforama titles. The capital club now share second place on the podium with Olympique de Marseille.

Seven out of eight ain't bad
By far the most successful club of the last decade, PSG have been crowned French champions seven times over the last eight years. Since the summer of 2012, only AS Monaco have managed to pip the Parisians to French football's biggest prize. This title for the principality club prevented PSG from challenging Olympique Lyonnais' record of seven consecutive league titles (won between 2002 and 2008).
