From Paris Saint-Germain's goalscoring exploits to Stade de Reims' stingy defence, the prodigies Eduardo Camavinga and Rayan Cherki to the golden oldie Vitorino Hilton, the 2019-20 campaign was not short on impressive stats.

75 PSG top scored with 75 goals, 31 more than AS Monaco, who netted the next-most strikes

21 The champions did not boast the best defence though. They conceded 24 times, three more than Stade de Reims.

12 PSG boasted the best home record with 12 wins in 14 matches at the Parc des Princes and just one defeat; LOSC Lille were next-best with 11 wins and two losses in 15 at the Stade Pierre Mauroy.

10 Kylian Mbappé, Neymar & Co. also had the best away record, winning 10 and losing just two on their travels. Olympique de Marseille were next-best with eight wins and two defeats in 14 'road trips'.

16 Rayan Cherki was the youngest Ligue 1 player in 2019-20, featuring for Olympique Lyonnais at the age of 16 years and two months in OL's Round 10 goalless draw with Dijon FCO.

16 Eduardo Camavinga is the youngest player involved in a goal in one of Europe's top five leagues in 2019-20. He was just 16 years and 281 days old when he registered an assist in Stade Rennais FC's 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in Round 2.

42 Vitorino Hilton — who else? — was the oldest player in the French top flight last season. At 42 years and six months, he played in Montpellier's 5-0 rout by Rennes. He featured in every game, and missed just nine minutes of L1 action all term. He'll be 43 in September, and — if he plays another L1 season — will surely pass the 500 appearance milestone: he's currently on 483 with SC Bastia, RC Lens, Olympique de Marseille and Montpellier.

421 Montpellier committed the most fouls with 421. Rennes suffered the most fouls with 404.

291 PSG may have been champions, but they were awarded just 291 fouls — only Stade Brestois 29 got fewer (286).

44 Angers SCO picked up a league-low 44 bookings. AS Monaco had the most with 71 with Olympique de Marseille close behind on 70.

8 AS Saint-Étienne made eight mistakes that led directly to goals last season; Stade de Reims were the stingiest with none at all.
