Olympique de Marseille coach André Villas-Boas has dedicated the club's Champions League qualification to late president Pape Diouf.
In a long Instagram post, the Portuguese coach wrote: "Runners-Up in France! What to say? What words to choose? Where to start? What an exceptional achievement! So many moments of joy, so many explosions of feelings! I would like to thank everybody without exception.
"(I'd like to thank) my players who were brilliant and unequalled, and with a lotof effort and working for each other, gave everything in every game. To Frank McCourt and Jacques-Henri Eyraud. To Andoni Zubizaretta and Albert Valentin who brought be to the marvellous city of Marseille and allowed me to know the force of the Vélodrome and the unique passion of its inhabitants.
"I would like to finish by dedicating this second place to the former Marseille president Pape Diouf."
