The Trophées UNFP, in partnership with the LFP and beIN Sports will not take place this year.
The awards night had originally been scheduled to take place on May 17. A UNFP statement read: "The organisers unanimously decided the awards would not take place in 2020. Above and beyond the truncated season and the difficulties - even impossibility - of organising the traditional gala awards night given the health situation, French football's heart isn't on festivities or on individual awards during this crisis.
"The blank honours list for 2020 will permit to underline the selflessness of the health worker and all those who have, over these last two months, given service to all of our society. It's a manner of saluting their courage."
Kylian Mbappé was named player of the year at the Trophées UNFP in 2019.
