AS Monaco's Croatian goalkeeper Danijel Subasic (35), who arrived in 2012, is leaving the Principality's club.

AS Monaco announced it on their Twitter account that Danijel Subasic, who arrived in January 2012, is leaving the principality club. The Croatian goalkeeper has played nearly 300 matches (292) for Monaco, including 25 in the Champions League.

He played a key role in Monaco's sensationally beating out favourites PSG to the Ligue 1 Conforama title in 2017, four years after lifting the Ligue 2 title under Claudio Ranieri.

However, last season was complicated by the arrival of Benjamin Lecomte as the club's new number-one 'keeper, and the fact that Subasic saw exactly zero minutes of game time in all competitions in 2019-20 likely played a starring role in his decision to move on.
