LOSC defender Gabriel enjoyed a magnificent 2019-2020 season and the sky is the limit for the Brazilian centre-half.
The 22-year-old told L'Equipe: "I progressed a lot last season, notably with my passing between the lines. Before I didn't do that much. Nowadays great defenders are players who know how to break the lines, who can find space, can knock it in behind. I have evolved a lot in this aspect. Now I need to score more goals."
Last Friday LOSC boss Christphe Galtier confirmed Gabriel's likely departure this summer and the left-sided centre-half commented: "It's gratifying to know a lot of clubs are talking about me. I want to go as far as I can and I came to Europe for that.
"Wherever I go it will be to play at the very highest level and above all for a team that will allow me to challenge for a place in the Brazil squad. That's my major objective, my dream, and I hope that I'll be there soon."
