Paris Saint-Germain have announced Thiago Silva, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Sergio Rico have all extended their contracts until the end of the 2019-20 season.
The trio had been due to leave the club at the end of June following the expiration of their previous deals, but due to the campaign being extended as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, they will remain at the club for a further two months.
That will enable them to take part in the Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue BKT finals against Saint-Etienne and Lyon on 24 and 31 July respectively as well as the UEFA Champions League Final 8 scheduled in Lisbon between 12 and 23 August.
The move comes on the same day left-back Layvin Kurzawa, whose previous contract was due to expire this month, extended his stay at the Parc des Princes until 2024.
Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier — both of whom are also out of contract — were not mentioned in PSG's announcement.
