OGC Nice have announced the signature a seventh summer recruit: versatile wide defender Jordan Lotomba, who signed joined OGC Nice from Young Boys Berne on Monday evening.
"After Robson Bambu, Hassane Kamara and Flavius Daniliuc, Jordan Lotomba is the fourth defender to join Patrick Vieira's squad this summer," said the club, who qualified for the Europa League thanks to a fifth-placed finish in Ligue 1 with Uber Eats in season 2019-20, on their website.
The 21-year-old, who is Le Gym's seventh recruit and can play on both left and right side of defence, will support Dante, Robson Bambu and Christophe Hérelle in Les Aiglons' rear-guard.
Trained in Switzerland, Lotomba has played for the national team's youth sides but has not yet been called up to the senior national team. An undisputed starter this season with the Young Boys of Berne (35 appearances), with whom he has won three Swiss championship titles since his arrival in 2017, Lotomba already has a certain amount of experience at the top level, with 12 European games under his belt so far.
Adrien Tameze and Racine Coly are also back at OGC Nice after half a season on loan to Atalanta (ITA) and Famalicao (POR) respectively.
The moves announced since Friday 10 July 2020 will be approved by the LFP from the start of the second transfer period.
